My daughter was 16 years old when she first started attending Krav Maga. I was hoping it would catch her interest long enough to see if it was something she would enjoy doing. My boys both play sports since Kinder but I had not found anything for my daughter to do besides art. Almost a year later she is still attending class and loves to go. I watch her as I’m waiting for her in the car and I see how happy she is. I see her talking to fellow classmates laughing and smiling. I’ve seen her confidence grow, her moodiness has improved a lot and she is happier. Vortex is not just somewhere where you attend class it’s a family. I’ve seen how they’ve taken my daughter under their wings. She was also able to work last summer as a coach in the summer programs. Vortex has been a blessing in her life. They say it takes a village to raise a child, I believe it’s true.
